Impact on Power Consumption - 2 Deep Sleep. The Deep Sleep requires a simple hardware modification - a jumper is needed between the Reset Pin and and Pin D0 of the Wemos D1 mini. Pin D0 on the Wemos maps to GPIO_16 on the ESP8266 - this has a WAKE feature. During the Deep Sleep period, D0/GPIO_16 are held high.
